Steps to perform hard reset ASUS Padfone 2 through mobile Keys and Settings,steps to enter in recovery mode, wipe data and factory reset.

Important Instructions:

• If you have an external memory in your device, you must remove it to avoid losing your important data, since the process of hard reset will erase all content in its path.
• As the internal memory can not be removed, I suggest you make a complete backup of your important files, because the hard reset will delete all data types or existing files.
• Before starting make sure you have the device charged up to 70%.

Hard Reset Through Phone Settings

• Your mobile should be switched on.
• Tap on Settings from the Main Menu.

• Switched off your phone.
• Press and hold Volume Down + Power together for few seconds.

• Choose Enter Recovery Mode by scrolling with Volume Down and confirm with Power Key.
• Now choose wipe data/factory reset by scrolling with Volume Key and confirm by pressing Power Key.
• Select Yes--delete all user data if you want to erase all your data.
• At the end select reboot system now.
• That's it.

Warning:
This will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your device and any programs that have been installed. You should only perform a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your device to an operational state.
