It may be necessary to perform a factory reset if your TEXET TM-7024 fails to respond when buttons are pressed or the screen is tapped.
Important Instructions:
- If you have an external memory in your TEXET TM-7024 , you must remove it to avoid losing your important data, since the process of hard reset will erase all content in its path.
- As the internal memory can not be removed, I suggest you make a complete backup of your important files, because the hard reset will delete all data types or existing files.
- Beofore starting make sure you have the device charged up to 70%
Hard Resetting Through Phone Settings:
- Your mobile should be switched on.
- Go to Settings from the main Menu.
- Tap on Backup & Reset > Reset Device.
- Tap Erase everything to start reset process.
- wait until your device will reset and reboots.
- Turn Off your device.
- Press and hold Volume Up + Power button OR Volume Down + Power button together for few seconds.
- Release the buttons when you see Android Logo on your screen.
- Go to recovery menu and choose "wipe data/factory reset" from the menu by scrolling with Voume buttons and confirm by Power button.
- In the next, select the option "Yes - delete all user data".
- At the end select "reboot system now" to complete the whole operation.
- That's it.
This will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your device and any programs that have been installed. You should only perform a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your device to an operational state.
