Performing Reset Through Mobile Keys and Settings

It may be necessary to perform a factory reset if your device fails to respond when buttons are pressed or the screen is tapped.
Important Instructions:
- If you have an external memory in your device, you must remove it to avoid losing your important data, since the process of hard reset will erase all content in its path.
- As the internal memory can not be removed, I suggest you make a complete backup of your important files, because the hard reset will delete all data types or existing files.
- Beofore starting make sure you have the device charged up to 70%
Hard Resetting Through Phone Settings:
- Your mobile should be switched on.
- Go to Settings from the main Menu.
- Tap on General > Backup & Reset > and then Reset Phone.
- Choose Erase Everything if you want to clear all your data.
- Select OK to confirm.
- Turn Off your device.
- Press and hold Volume Down + Power button together for a couple of seconds.
- When the LG logo is displayed, release the Power button, keep pressing the Volume Down and then press once more the Power button.
- Release all buttons when a factory reset menu appeared on your screen.
- Use Volume button to select Yes or No, and Power button to confirm.
- Your phone should be restart along with factory setting.
This will erase all your personal information, any contacts stored on your device and any programs that have been installed. You should only perform a clean boot when all other options have failed to restore your device to an operational state.
