A hard reset, also known as a factory reset or master reset, is the restoration of a device to the state it was in when it left the factory. All settings, applications and data added by the user are removed. Press the power button at the same time and with the reset button on the unit. With this information and the GPS settings are reset to the factory settings.

1. "Settings".
2. "Misc."
3. "Back to Factory Default".
4. Then "OK."
The data on the SD card will remain.
