Performing Factory Reset on Garmin Approach S1


Factory or Hard (Full) Reset:

It may be necessary to perform a reset if your device fails to respond when buttons are pressed or the screen is tapped.

Factory Reset Via Buttons:
  1. Power the Approach off (Press and hold LIGHT/POWER button until device powers off)
  2. Press and hold DOWN
  3. Press LIGHT/POWER
  4. Release DOWN and LIGHT/POWER when screen displays Clear user data?
  5. Select Yes
