 Performing Factory Reset on Samsung Blackjack SGH-i607

The BlackJack (SGH-I607) features two different methods to reset the handset's factory settings, thru the phone menus or using the handset buttons.

Reset viw Phone Setting:

WARNING: This Reset will Delete ALL added Data from the Handsets Memory

1. While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Start
Select Settings
Select More (7) to display more settings
Select Security (1)
Select More (7) to display more security settings
Select Reset (1)
Enter the reset password, using the keypad (the default password is 0000) (No longer required for Windows Mobile 6)
Press the left soft key for Done to set the reset
Press the left soft key for Yes to confirm the reset

Note: If the default password (above) fails, try the last 4 digits of your phone number

Reset viw Phone Buttons:

WARNING: This Reset will Delete ALL added Data from the Handsets Memory

1. When the handset is powered off, Press and Hold the up navigation button then power on the handset
2. Press the 1 key at the format prompt then press the Y key at the erase all data prompt

Note: To turn the BlackJack on or off simply Press & Hold the power button, located on the top, left side, of the handset, just above the ear speaker (See picture below).
